IRUKANDJI SHARK & RAY ENCOUNTERS

Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounters are leaders in marine educations, conservation and fun. This unique experience is unmatched by any other location in the country. Visitors interact with marine life during a guided shark encounter tour; joining them in their world, petting and feeding them all under the ever-watchful eyes of the experienced guides.
Irukandji is a massive family, fish and staff alike, as they set out to reveal the true character of some of the worlds most beautiful, intelligent, elusive creatures, at the same time they educate visitors about Australia's delicate ocean ecosystems and ocean pollution.
Located in the beautiful Port Stephens on the mid north coast: one of the best holiday destinations in Australia.

SHARING THE PASSION FOR THE OCEAN THROUGH ART

A dedicated gallery space for Denise Duffy, local Port Stephens artist to exhibit and share her art has been incorporated into the new premises at Anna Bay. Original Artworks which are inspired by the magic and wonder of the ocean.

As the resident artist of Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounters, Denise also shares her creativity with families, each month illustrating a species from the aquarium or the local environment for fun colouring in while learning about each species.

Denise will also be at the centre from time to time to run free workshops for children to create artworks inspired by the ocean.
